test fit the tail exhause and then removed it to be welded at work with the tig in stainless so here is the first lot of three (looking great to!!!!)

I agree with WhiteNight. Those slots would be dragging gases and brake-dust in towards the centre(and Centrifugal Force would be trying to throw it out), net result clogged-up grooves.
this is a common misconception. if you have a look at almost any racecar, gt1 cars for example, the brake rotors are oriented as kiff has posted. it has to do more with the direction of the veins inside the rotor rather that the direction of the slot
