Its true - they are different sized As already stated the difference is the viewing angle. Because the mirrors are angled slightly when you reverse them (change the right side mirror to the left side- as in a US mirror) it means the angle is going the wrong way and you end up either seeiing the sky or the road depending on which way you converted, it makes them harder to adjust to a position that is suitable for a proper viewing angle. The post by kiff shows you that the triangle is in fact much smaller on the US model and almost twice as large on the AUS / JAP Model, I dont know about pillar angle etc, in fact I was hoping someone would know and be able to tell the difference. It doesnt make sense as Chili suggested but the photo by kiff and four or so of us that have fallen into the trap already is enough to prove the triangle is in fact different in size. This is speculative but it appears as if the leading edge is the same on the US base so the window and pillar angle should be the same, but yeh -- the door has to be different unless they have an additional base ??? Sorry about the thread dig, though, are these Ganador mirrors ADR approved? May sound like a stupid question, but I don't want to spend near $650 for mirrors to find out they're not legal.
Not sure about ADR approved but technically no by the RTA Not sure about ADR being jap born - but technically no - they are not RTA approved - specifically because your not supposed to change the position of the indicators, technically even if you dont remove the side indicators - you are still adding them into the mirrors, so it depends on the inspector and his interpretation, but I feel that the default would end up being no, if it has been referred to tech specs - they tend to err on the default - no change if the intepretation is not clear - so buying a set is fine if you plan to keep your original mirrors just in case - you get defected for them - they do look good - but in the end I opted for stillen rocket mirrors for that reason.

oh - I was sure that stillen does - but fair enough as I cannot find my references - I call them rocket mirrors but they are in fact aero's - happy to be corrected regardless - thanks

so ive got some of these mirrors sitting in my collection, the ones with the indicators in them. never bothered to install them etc how much should i sell them for ? i dont know if they are original super ganadors or copies ? prob copies though...
