Anyone going to the games expo this friday-Sunday? Well if you are going friday I'll be there with the E-Vade between midday and 2:30pm, feel free to come and say hi. Here is the challenge you have to work out which game has the car in it.
FORZA 3. i win. and nahhh not going. went a few years back and it was full of sweaty, jobless nerds. and i know this because it was a tuesday around 2pm lol. have fun but.
Royal Exhibition centre It is at the royal exhibition centre, in Melbourne. Also, don't you know it. I get the car washed and polished, and predictably it starts to rain. I swear I should not have called the car the E-Vade, but the drought breaker. Or Rain Dance, Hope to see you there. Looks like the Bowell Nagari is coming out too.
Hmm, I've got no interest in games but it's still starting to seem worth dropping in to have a look. I hear they are looking at doing an electric Nagari too!
Don't go Peter on my account I couldn't stay long. Bloody rain, guess what get home and it clears up. Hmmm Spoke to Campbell Bolwell for a while he never mentioned it. Truely an admirable person to meet.
Wet Wet Wet Well, what happened. It rained as always. I hung off as long as I could and then just took the plunge (pun intended). Headed off into the Royal Exhibition centre. It was fine whilst underway even with the trucks kicking up all the spray. But, when I stopped, well ..it was wet. Had a few hair moments. being cut off once, and a little too heavy on the accelerator at one point saw boost cut in and a little oppisite lock. Arrived and it was like a reunion of car builders. Great to have a yak too all, but had to cut and run early as the heavens opened up again. And, guess what the westgate was a car park. I tell you if there was ever a good test for the new sequential gearbox start stop traffic is it 30mins to get over the bridge 1st, 2nd, stop, 1st, stop, etc. Had a lovely yak with a couple in the taxi next to me though. Once over the bridge the traffic cleared out and I could stretch its legs. 100km/hr is just too slow.
That just means you need to get out to more track days. Any planned before you go? I think a few of us Victorians would be keen for a day at Mallala when you are settled over there too, I know it's a track I am keen to have a go at. Re Colin Bolwell, I saw him at the motorshow when you had the Evade there but was too intimidated to talk to him, oh well. regarding the electric car, I'm not sure where I read the article but one of the family members was quoted as saying 'it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when'.
Hmmmm, I love my track days especially PI, that straight is where the track car comes into its domain. The road car's gearbox is probably a little too tall, as in 4th it is doing just under 3k, and 5th is 2500. No more track days planned before I go. The wife has explained the rules I must obey. But, on a serious note I will be looking into organising a track day at mallala. I'll suss it out while over there and will look at the accomodation, fooding, winnery tours, etc.... As for Colin I have found him very approachable, I am sure he would happily talk to you for hours about cars. HE built his first when he was 18yrs old, definite car nut there.
I was thinking it after seeing the ads but when i checked the site they don't have a listing for Blizzard's Starcraft II so i wont be going sorry mate.
