Ok just a simple question guys... I want the Full Exhaust with Extractors for my car.. Now where can i get this and how much would it be + Installation.... i know it's going to be 2000+ probably.... Anyway. That's a lot of cash so i am thinking of getting a Cat Back with 2 Cannons and i am wondering if i can add the rest onto my cat later or how does this process work.. Thanks
Ok a quick rundown........ dump pipes are the TT equivalent to the NA headers (extractors).....& test pipes refers to a 'straight through' type set up that doesn't have any cats! highly illegal of course for a street car!! .......then the back half of the system is as per normal for a 'cat back' set up! As for price, I got quoted $1300 for a full turbo-back system, excluding cats. So, chuck in high-flow cats, maybe $1800ish (this was stainless-steel system with x-pipe).
i bought my own muflers, and for full system cost me about $700 , ring mettams mufflers in morley, ask for julian, he does good deals for the 300zx club, he was sooo cheap with mine!!!
i got my 2.5" stainless steel dump pipes and test pipes for $200, my stainless steel magnaflow hi flow cats for $350, my mild steel cat back for $300 and my 2nd hks dragger muffler for $50 close to the legal db limit and capable of good power. all up i've paid about 250 in labour grand total 1150
yeah? Does that include extractors as well? I want to get the full exhaust for a NA with extractors..... Can i get a cat back with cannons and add the rest later or is that going to be a problem due to the size of the pipes?
No probs!!! I fitted a 2.5" cat back twin system with JunBl cannons.......just bought the hi-flow Metalcats in the recent GB......contact MrG & see if you can still get in on this GB as some are still waiting for their orders from th US??? $560 delivered for a pair!!! .......& plan on buying the TTZED HPC coated headers (extractors) as soon as the funds will allow!! :zlove:
You can get a cat-back and add-on later. And yes, that included dump-pipes, which are the turbos equivalent to extractors. This was a quote from mettams in Morley
