Fuel smell from petrol car/flap area

    Hey Rosco

    I have a tube of Selly's kneadit in the shed, I can bring to tech day if you like :). We can all learn together and then sit around and sing Koombiah by the burning zed :D:D:D:D:D
    Just joking :D I do have kneadit tho if you want me to bring :)

    Not sure if kneadit is fuel proof, make sure it is before you use it. I used form a gasket as it says specifically that its ok for use where it will be in contact with fuel or fuel vapors.

    Hey again

    It say's on the pack that it can be used on Petrol tanks for repair :).
    So should be fine :zlove:.

    I also have a leak around the fuel cap. The insert is loose, but I can't get it out, I have tried a slide hammer. How did you get get you restrictor/insert out?

    Yeah kneadit is some good shit. Used it for a sump repair on a kombi many years ago when I hit a rock on a dirt road. Such a good fix I forgot I'd done it and sold the van 2 years later with it still in place. So it's definately oil proof!
