fuel pump not priming

    Hi guys I started my z this morning all good, then turned it off and now no fuel, pump is not priming,I replaces fusable link under bonnet but can't find a replacement fuel pump relay for the kick panel any ideas are the relays prone to just giving up??

    the realys dont fail often in my experience but its possible. confirm by borrowing a relay from someone or see if it is the same as a headlight relay for example that you can use for testing purposes

    So was the relay which I picked up from Nissan $58 for genuine relay u need the part number of it to get it because their catalogues are in Japanese lol

    Fusible Link?

    Was the fusible link blown (open circuit)?
    If it was you have a serious electrical issue! :(
    If it wasn't, replacing an operational component will never achieve the desired outcome. :eek:
    Is the fuel pump relay defective?
    Have you tested it?

    See Service Manual.....

    page EF &EC 150 for appropriate testing. The pages test the signal from the ECU, ground and battery voltages where necessary. It is pretty thourough if you can follow the instruction there.
