I have just left Richmond this week for a 2000 k run down to Brissy. I started to get worried when I was running out of fuel at 400ks. This was happening all the way down to Bundaberg. I ran Mark for some help as Datascan was showing the mixture to be running rich, and I couldn't find out why. The A/F Base was at 100, but the A/F Learning was at 106. Clearing the self learn didn't help either. The other night I had cause to disconnect the battery. Today on my run down to Brissy from Bundy, my fuel cunsuption went from 7k per litre to 9.5. I had travelled 350 ks with a 1/3 of a tank left. All I did was disconnect the battery giving the ECU a cold restart. Something for all to take into account if your having consumption (Fuel that is) problems... Just give the ECU a restart. I can't hurt...
