Ok, generally most people that own a z are friendly people, and are willing to talk about their cars... right? I was out clubbing in the City on Saturday nite when behold, a new red z drives past the club and parks up the road... young guy. I left the club cos I wanted a closer look at this Z. It had aftermarket front guards with vents n an awesome looking kit. It was red with 300 on his door and a TOYO sticker on the drivers side, there was an Ignition DVD sticker on his bonnet, and also a HOT4's sticker too. Saw the guy at a coffee shop standing outside beside his Z with a few friends... "is this yours?" i asked he kinda looked at me n nodded... i was thinking, hmmm, ok, rude. "where did u get your front guards done? I've got a z as well, yours is really nice, the guards look good." he kinda looked at the car, then at me, then at his friends n didnt answer. His friends said "he doesnt speak english very well" I'm standing there thinking 'how hard is it to understand 'front guards'?' Then his friend turns to me and says, "it goes really fast, do you want him to take you for a drive in it?" By this time i'm fuming! Fair enough i'm all dressed up in the whole clubbing outfit, but for him to talk to me like i'm just some stupid chick that wants a ride in his 'pretty sports car', just set me off... I turned to his mate n said "I've got one myself, if i want to go for a ride in one, I'll drive myself." and left. When we were driving out of the street, who should pull out beside me other than the little asshole in the red z. Being in the mood that i was in, i looked forward n waited for him to see who was driving, and took off infront of him, he caught up, n guess what, he was non-turbo too. So much for the 'fast, fancy, sports car that he can take me for a ride in!' How hard is it to answer a simple question about your car? Oh, and by the way, you generally only put the stickers on your car if you have been in the magazine or on the DVD, his hasnt been in either, I have most of the episodes of each, at least mine is in both. Anyway, just needed to vent, It was bugging me all Sat night. *smiles*

lol nice story, sounds familiar. obviously he dunno nethin bout cars or who done the work! similar thing happend in town with a guy with a 180sx, he kept saying he done all the work himself so im like what turbo ya using, t28 or stocko? n he just stared at me and then his gf was like oh its only the stock one.... obviously hes done all the work!!! maybe he was gay?
I've never had that problem Cindy... All the people I have come across love to chat about their Zeds. Recently I met Phil (visits the forum a little) for the first time while I was parked down at the beach. He pulled in next to me & my friends Zed & before he had even jumped out of his Zed I was standing next to his door waiting to ask him questions LOL. But there's this blond chick (who I haven't seen for a while now) who drives a white NA Zed. She was driving along side me once, and she had a female friend in the car with her. I looked over and they were both just staring at me with blank faces. So I smiled, but still no reaction from them. I wonder if it was my stunning good looks that had them entranced?
LOL! Yea, most people are generally friendly, all the people that i've met before this guy are, whether its a z or just another modified car, but this guy was just an ass! I suppose because I jsut walked up to them, instead of driving could have had somehting to do with it, 'its just another chick that can read the model of the car' kind of thing. There are a few new zeds getting round in Jimboomba (where i live) lately, I've noticed bout 5 of them! LOL! A really nice white one as well around the Maclean area.

Everyone ive spoken too is really nice, not met too many but never had any problem, when i was up in brissy i was talking to a security guard at Hungry Jacks and his missus just bought a 300zx we chatted for a while until we got kicked out... not my fault my cousin is a lunatic
Everyone ignores me these days... Something tells me that I've told everyone about my Z too much! Did i mention i'm waiting for a price on a complete rebuild with forgies and all that jazz? Got a Fmic on the way, got a bedroom full of parts, including a new front bar, new headlights, got new taillights on the car already, got new 2k indicators. 650cc injectors, new o2's new sparkies. EBC ready to go in, as well as greddy emanage ultimate ready for installation, R33k Has my rotors.. but i've got the adapters so that SOD won't install mine on his rear! :wacko: New hard pipes ready to bolt on as well, Think i've missed a whole heap of things, oh yeah like the new centre console which i'm customising, new rims on the way, new bonnet on the way, Gonzo's nose panel to install.. Could have bought a new Zed with what i've just spent Bloody thing. I hate it so much, but at the same time I love it twice as much! Did i miss anything:wacko:??? Probably heaps actually... . i was driving down stud rd once when i saw a red zed approaching on the oposite side, low and behold this thing was beautifull.. and the z was nice too. she was blonde, 20+ looking, and had nice boobs, if i didnt have my 'then' gf of the time in the car with me, i would have sooo done a u-turn to have a chat/get her number =( havent seen her around since.. shoulda seen how unimpressed my gf was.. haha, did i cop a lecture for perving.. i just said i was looking at the z.. she saw right through me

Never met one outside here... I've never met another Zedder on the road who has responded to my friendly gestures. Don't get me wrong, I see Zeds all the time and every time they pass by or pull up next to me I wave or smile or both...I get nothing back. I keep doing it though regardless...lol. One time I got really angry and yelled out the window, "Oi...wave back!!" You get an odd mix of Zed owners though...I always see a lot of older people driving them...and quite often they are female. Sadly, usually the only people who respond to me or my car are non-Zed owners and P platers...but bugger them I say!! *snob face* *sigh* I'll keep on being friendly though...maybe one day I'll get a reaction. You should keep on being friendly too Brissie Beauty... In my mind, unless they are driving a Ferrari or something which is worth more than my house, they have no reason to be snobby! *grin* Cheers Rob.
even before i was on the forum and driving around ive seen a few zeds at the other side of the lights and as we pass you always get the respectful nod from each other.. haha love it, makes ya feel like your in some kinda underground mafia haha.. where as if it were 2 skylines passing youd prob get a bashing and acused at looking at "mi girl daug"........*rolleyes oh speaking of which ive seen a damn fine chick in a dark green soarer around canington way a few times, each time ive aways been in my mates magna so theres no point catching up, just get laughed at..... any perth fellas know?
