Beats me, what the Hell is "frayon", and why put it on your paint?

Hang on, you're not talking about "Freon gas" are you? "Freon" was used in the old, yellow fire extinguishers, but has been banned years ago because of environmental damage.
Any release of Freon into the atmosphere MUST be reported to the EPA, and carries a very substantial fine.

Freon was the gas used in refrigeration (don't know if it's still used)....

and if my memory serves me correctly unless it's in a vacuum it boils at 0 degrees Celsius. So unless you spilled it on your paintwork in its liquid form (where it would rapidly boil and evaporate) I can't see it effecting your paint.

Freon is inert. I used to use Freon all the time in the olden days

when I was an electronics techo. Best contact cleaner around. You cant buy it anymore.

It would'nt do anything to paint work except make it cold as it evaporates really fast.

I was gonna say, I didn't think you could buy it anymore?

Apparently because it harms the ozone!?!?!?!

i thought R12 R134a, they are all frayon, it's just a matter of time until the R134a is banned.....

anyway yes it damages the ozone layer, i just heard that about a car with it's a/c full of freon damages around an area of one sqaure kilometer in the ozone
