Found this in the Passenger Footwell

Just wondering what the thing on the left is, and why it's been modified..

 

hey mate im going with ASCD and looks like its been modified to raise the top speed from 110 to 148kph.

p.s. thats cruise controll unit

 

It's your cruise control module and as Scump said, it's been modified to raise the upper limit for the cruising speed to 148kph.

Now I know how fast I can cruise at if I ever get the cruise control to work
