Hello, i just made a rebuilt to my engine-gearbox and just a couple days ago i putted all in the car and it is almost ready to start it again. My problem is that just yesterday i reallised that i forgot to place a snap ring at the gearbox. It is the small snap ring and the spacer that goes at the front cover of the gearbox. Not the big one which is at the bearing the other one which goes at the shift forks shaft. I tried the gearbox and it engages all the gears smooth with no problem yet. Im asking cause i'm really tired to get them all down again, and i'd rather wait a couple of weeks as i am waiting a new clutch to come. So i want to know if it is safe to ride the car or not.

Thats the fork retaining spring. You shouldnt drive it without that in. You run the risk of snapping the pivot ball off.
