    Hi all..

I'm not sure how well I'm going to go, asking this on here.. but..

A mate of mine owns a Ford Probe, and it is believed that the Relay for the Fuel pump is dead.

The question is this - How interchangable are relays? If we work out what sort of relay it is, can we just get another one that matches and slap her in, or would we have to get a OEM one from Ford?

I ask because to get one, Ford have to ship it from the US.

If we can find a relay which matches the circuitry for the Fuel pump, even if it doesn't fit, can we just wire it up?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers :D

PS. Pics of my new Z coming soon - Gotta work out how to use my Girlfriends camera then I'll be set

It is possible to get a matching relay, but you would need to know the specifications for the stock unit (and if it is anything like the falcon unit, it won't be visible) to get a matching hella unit.

I know I had to buy the OEM fuel pump relay for an EA Falcon and it cost $70 including my staff discount :(

    Cheers
