i have been toying with my fog lights to try and attach them to my new fibreglass front bar without the reo.. any one have any suggestions of pics of their own fabrications? i have made a series or tin brackets and attached, but i am getting frustrated with the design so i am thinking some gaffa tape, or whatever u call the black stong tape - cant remember.
Cant do that without gaffas hehe The race tape would be the strongest, (also called 100mph tape) it has the fibres What about some plastic cups and fibreglass some nuts into the bodykit ?
Eh good question, normally just get it from the kart shop supplies hehe try supercheap what you are looking for is the tape that has the fibres in it to make it stronger, its like a white coton mesh
I'm curious as to why people are removing the reo when install FG bars? You don't need to remove it to fit the bars. It requires some modification to fit, but it does fit.
the fg bar fog light holes didnt line up with the reo bar...i asked the installers to fit it but it was way off and they pretty much told me to deal with it. they are in there now and with enough metal brackets and race tape a sledge hammer would find a hard time moving them
He has a FMIC which mean no or seriously modified reo bar its not the front bar thats the problem its the damn coolers. Mines gone too and up for grabs and I've already sold my fog lights.
gaffa tape = king. i now have a redundant reo bar that will fit a stock bar with FMIC (or it did mine, might need a bit of mods from 1 to another)
I want yours so I can buy another set of foggies as I just sold mine without thinking about it lol. I'd rather chop up yours than do it to mine when it could be good for someone else as its still in good nick and in one piece.
