I'll be changing my FMIC to SMICs was going to get them made by PWR but might just buy them off the shelf easier and maybe cheaper.
Question is who has the best smic AMS? needs 2.5 inch in/outlets most cooling possible.
    Thanks

He is after 2.5" in/out, choices are very limited.

    Japtek/Godpseed 2"

He is probably looking north of 500RWHP.

plasmaman is a good intercooler 2" outlets and my new set up is why im selling it, my radiator is in fmic position "FMR" with twin big 14" thermo fans, my turbos and maybe accusump in radiators position this is what i wanted to do for years but money held me back,

Did want to relocate turbos in back corners of engine bay but some one criticized and then stole that idea and look how well it work out for him.

With the right fuel and right boost my car could see close to 1000hp ashspec SMIC still up for the job been looking in to liquid cooling but found im to limited on space for another radiator and more weight. have to stick to air to air.

I have the Japtek ones, paid $369 at the time for them.

I'm trying to find someone to modify them to 2.5" Inlet/Outlets.

Cheapest I've found so far is about $400... yep, $400 to modify a pair of 2" In/Out Intercoolers.

Do you remember for how much, Rob?

I don't mind paying, but I just can't understand how its supposed to be a $400+ job.

Can't remember but I dont think it was that bad? Dave at UAS does nice fabrication work I'm sure he could manage something for you.

Otherwise I'm fairly sure mine was done by James aka Groove Ryder so there's another option.

The Ashspec quote a slightly larger overall core size but if you count the air carrying "tubes" that join the tanks, the Bell has 14 where Ashspec has 13.

The upper and lower "tubes" on the Bell are not bordered by cooling fins, just end plates.

    Hard to choose between them.

Have you considered trying to modify a pair of GodSpeed with larger 2.5" in/out ?

Don't know if that alloy material can be welded easily, but I guess the question is welded to what ?

But if i was going for 1000HP i would go the TDM setup every day of the week.
