I have one of these too. Its a great intercooler, and the alloy pipes are fantastically light.

Hope you can get good coin for it. But most zed owers are cheapskates and are more likely to buy a cheap Chinese POS with steel pipes than something actually good.

 

Maybe because paying 300% more for something that is only 50% better is not a smart buy for most zedders

 

getting the last 5% doesnt cost 5% and never has. The last 5% costs exponentially more than the first 5%.

You either buy the best to get the best or trade off performance against cost. IE: Cheap Out.

This FMIC is more efficient than any smic on the market so it is better for your zed.

 

You get what you pay for i bought one of those shitty group buy fmic it did nothing other than block 80% of the air going to my radiator causing the car to run much hotter thats why i upgraded to a plazmaman, and saw a big improvement in coolant temps due to its tube and fin design and reduced lag because of the elongated end tanks and its free flowing core and weighs like 1/3 of the weight my group buy one was thats why all the big hp cars use them because there just better in every way..

Of course I know this, but I'm saying that for MOST zedders it is not worth the money. This 'cooler is worth more than some peoples zeds If you're going for a big flash build like your race car, or Rob260's or whatever then this would be the thing to go.

I've already got some UAS SMIC's that I know will flow enough air for 350rwkw, which is higher than what I need, so why spend 3 times as much?

 

Therein lies the problem selling something like this. It would only appeal to a very select few and you'd better hope they're in the market for something like this or it will never sell.

It is an excellent FMIC, but Chrispy is on the money here too. For the majority of Zedders here if they purchased it, it would purely be for bragging rights. Few would ever realize its full potential so to echo Chrispy, why spend 3 times more?

I'll admit I was a little tempted for a while. But decided it would be more cost effective to just modify my Japtek SMIC's to 2.5" In/Out.

Yes only because I can't run a fmic with my new set up so I will have to go with smic but will be talking to pwr as they"ll be making my custom radiator in the fmic location they can also make my smic which I'll design as I've done for my radiator, very costly i know but with 700hp on pump fuel and our climate long drives NSW to QLD I won't the best cooling possible to prolong the life of my engine and turbos.

On subject the plasmaman Fmic if anyone wants it it's here $1200 or your best offer.
