Hi Guys....my jspec radio only goes up to 89.9 fm (jap band only goes to this freq).I have installed radios in other cars b4 using two key type devices to remove the old one. This procedure wont work on this one....How do I get the radio out?do I have to pull off the complete fascia or get at it from the side, and if so how and which panels need to be moved....I knew it wouldnt be straight forward! Thanks

    yes

you'll have to take the front faisca out. the one with the dash vent in it. and that will most likely show you some screw to take out. not hundred precent sure on the screws but you have to take the fasica out.

    Yep facia out!

have done this numerous times. there is a bracket in behind that holds the stereo in . it has 4 screws holding it in that once removed will allow you to pull the whole bracket out with the stereo still attached. the just swap over with new stereo and put bracked back in. Really easy should be something in the tech section about this.

    4 screws

and 2 clips hold the facia panel in, hidden behind a plastic strip and 2 plastic clips,
Just subtract 18HZ from the Australian stations and this will be your new band setting.
