bracing bar? there is no brace there? it must just be the way it was made? maybe not an actual original 2k bar? maybe a copy? either way it looks heaps better than the original if it isnt. tough as. and no u cant change the look by camber or offset wheels we are just talking about the bar looking fat here. :rolleyes2:
Its a bracing for the front bar ya knob,but what would i know,ive only got 2 zeds both with 2k bars fitted by myself lol , You have a fibreglass copy bar and its probably not used.If you dont use the brace bar without splash shields on a 2000 spec,the urethane will flap all over the place I know of no company that makes a urethane replica 2k bar I think escort made one with a bottom lip out of fibreglass,maybe Geoff will enlighten us rather than arguing on ash's thread
interesting. the only braces im aware of on the stock bar is the metal tube that runs at the top of the bar, the metal strip at the bottom for the splash shield, and the metal brackets on the sides for the splash sheilds. does the 2k spec bar come out with more braces? im not sure of the one your trying to talk about? do you have a pic of it. and fk why does every1 think there is an argument when someone is trying to find out something or trying to have a discussion. im not argueing :bash:
ok, there is a brace plate that fits into the side of the bar with a clip on it,that plate is then bolted on the other end to the body which stops the urethane bending outwards You could extend that plate to bulge the bar out,but then the splash guards will not clip onto the body in the correct spots and the under engine plastic shield would not line up with the holes on the underside of the bar to bolt up Sorry i dont take pix of the inside of my front bar,i cant get in there,ive grown too big,crazy i know,but i havent lol, If you know any dwarfs,please tell them i need to hire them lol
oh interesting, so the 2k bar comes with an extra brace then because the stock bar doesnt have that? kool. take your splash sheilds off then, and make custom ones, the bar look tough as with it out like she has.
