Does anyone do installs of these professionally in melbourne? Does anyone do installs of these professionally in melbourne?... (Lacking a garage, tools and time having just moved here, i'm leaning towards getting a shop to do this rather than myself....
Trust me, if I can do it anyone can do it. You just need to look at the Service manual and it shows you what to take off first. If you don't have the manual I'll fax or email the page to you. cheers Geoff
or pay for a flight, accom and meals for Geoff to come to Melbourne for the day! Geoff, that looks just AWESOME!!! Great job!!! :zlove: i love it!
Hey there, seriously it is really easy, as Geoff said. i pulled my cluster out pleanty of times, all it is takes the pods off, cluster housing, dash thingy, and the cluster, then fllp the cluster back to front, twist the bulbs from it sockets, replace, and reverse. shouldnt take more then 1 hour max. unless u are really bored, then take ya time
hey geoff, how are you? i'm looking to do the same thing as u on my Z, but in blue. could u send me an email or PM, to explain to me how to do it step by step. i mean if u have time to do it, or u can explain it to me on wednesday at the BBQ. cheers
You simply replace the 4 plug-in Wedge Bulbs behind the Instrument Cluster, with the coloured LED Wedge Globes of your choice. It ain't rocket science Byron. (no offense Geoffo):zlove::zlove:
That looks friggin awesome!! Are the needles actually glowing or is that just an effect caused by the photo? Cause I like the idea of glowing needles!!
Done mine today Geoff You have inspired me Geoff so while puting in my black face 300kmh I also rushed down to autobarn and brought some red bits to do my lights as well. And they turned out great.
so instrument cluster thinggy requires t10 wedge bulb while if you got a few more hrs on ya hand and want to change the pods on the sides too like jedi then you need to do some soildering ledz....right?
