Does anybody know any fibreglasser/bodykit repairs in Adelaide?

I tried yellowpages.com.au but can't get anything for bodykits.

I have a lil chunk missing from my VS C2 front bar near bottom left of it.

try under fibreglass tanks or boat building you will find that either could do the repairs or just a panel beater can do most f/glass repairs as well.
best of luck with it buddy

    Surf Shop...

Just go to your local Surf Shop... (real one, not clothing outlet crap fake ones with surf boards bolted to ceiling and rafters) where they actually sell Surfboards.
They'd have repair kits especially for small dings er..chunks!

Bunnings sell repair kits in the paint section. Fibre glass repair is very easy once you know how. get someone to show you then in no time you will pick it up. If it is just a chip use bog / epoxy to fill then sand back . If a crack get the kit from bunnings with matting - resin and catylist . Take the bumper off then mat from behind then brush on the mixed ( with catylist ) resin. To hold the crack in place tape waxed face cardboard to it on the paint side. Should cost no more than $30 to buy kit and repair ( unless major damage ) + paint.

its actually like a 8cm by 4 cm chunk missing from the bottom lip of this bar, and I don't have that missing chunk. Can it still be refibreglassed? or do I need a new bottom lip again?

surf boards use a different resin to your average bar so I would suggest going the Bunnings way I bought a kit for arround $20 with a 1msq piece of mat and enough resin to suit. easiest way is a small bit of carboard taped in place to fill the hole (bog it in if you want to leaving a small recess so the mat and resin is flush) make sure you remove all the dodgy bits of loose fiberglass torn around the gap, and better if you can grind an amount og good stuff down around the edge so again you have a nice flush finish. also on the back put a layer or 2 down right across the repair with a good 10cm over the original material. if you really want a good finish you want a gelcoat, but I can not give any advice on this as I use a fine finish bog if required but normally find a good layer of resin on top can be sanded to a nice finish.

Spot on , use cardboard it's easy as . Gelcoat is as easy to apply as bog but really a waste of time if you are painting ( just use bog ).

Shadow85 are you coming to the brunch at the Pier Hotel, Largs Bay, this weekend? If so I am happy to have a look at it for you and might be able to help out.

is that a gathering for aus300zx members? If so, I wouldn't mind coming.

I have always wanted to come and meet some members from here. But I always said that I would wait till when my car is in proper shape to take out, it just happens that it never really is, lol.

Sure is check the coming events section. Don't worry we don't have a judging section at these gatherings, just a cuppa with bacon. No one will comment on your zeds condition. bring it a long. I say a work in progress says a lot about you.
