I am currently making a customised a bodykit for my zed, I am sick of seeing kits that don't fit properly and I wanted my own look.

It has occured to me there may be a few others of you out there who want to change the look of your car to. It's also a terrible waste making moulds and using them once.

I have a couple of designs for headlights panels, bonnets and vents which can be fitted to a standard bonnet. I will do panels in fibreglass or carbon fibre and at affordable prices. If you also have a design you would like to see on your own car I will look at custom pieces for those that what them. Depending on how things go, I might venture into side skirts and fronts.

I would appreciate your feed back

    Thanks

    Jamie

    Group Buy?

    G'day Jamie,
This sound great. How about some pics when you get them. Perhaps you should post thin in the group buy section so it doesn't disappear off the page so quickly.
    I'll definately be interested.
    See Ya,
    Garry

Welcome Jamie. Would you be considering guards front or rear as well?

    prices

I am getting some photos together, of the panels I am doing to my car. I will post this up when I get them together and primed. As for prices I have to work them out but probably $170-$200 for headlight panel, $600-$700 for a bonnet, carbon firbe will be extra of course. The bonnet vents will probably be about the same price as the headlight panel, for my car I am cuttting holes in the bonnet and bonding the vents in, this may not be practical for most others because it involves respraying the bonnet.

The biggest thing I need at the moment is feed back, prices will greatly depend on demand, please tell me what you would like to pay and I will see what I can do.

I will probably will just start with the items above and then think about doing other more complex items.

    I wonder too.

I came across this same post a few weeks back while doing a search on bonnet vents.

I just private messaged dull redz - he's still around, only posted a few days back - so hopefully he'll shed some light.

    Update, PM reply

My car will at the painters in 2 weeks, then i will post photo's. I could put some up of it primed on the weekend, I haven't done the centre panels yet I am doing a deal with bluez hopefully to get a spare centre panel. I have done mirrors, front bar, side skirts and rear bar. Have done a custom twin pod filter adapter and still working on bonnet vents, not happy with the design of these at the moment.

I think I will post some photos, to show what I have done.

Pic would be great. I'd be v interested in a bonnet vent. Always interested in lowering engine and engine bay temps.

    Bar & Headlight panel

I am interested in a headlight panel with 3 horizontal forward facing vents with about 2 - 3" of plain each side.

I am also after a lower front skirt or a full bar with a larger front open area.

Have you made your kit yet???

The front bar and side skirts are completly finished. Pod filter adaptor needs a little grinding as does the rear bumper. MIrrors are finished, still working on a bonnet vent design that I like.

I too want one of those fronts bars....

Can anyone else smell that? Mmmmm.... that smell would be dullredz's instant popularity.

    these are the custom mirrors

they fit the standard electric fold back mirror. I can make a mold for the front bar, and pop a few out if anyone really wants one. i would have to figure out a price and that would greatly depend on how many i could sell.

    front spoiler

    hey mate,
any more pics of the front bar? it looks quite similar to some sketches i've got of what my custom kit will look like.
how have you done it btw, started with a front spoiler and customised from there such as a veilside or something, or have you started from scratch?
    cheers.
