Anyone know where I can get fiberglass from around Campbelltown nsw? I got some from Bunnings but I think ill be needing like 3 more packs of it to finish one side of my custom sub box

Would like to find somewhere else that has better value since at the moment its working out cheaper to just buy 2 of ebay :(

It will be working out to cost about $100 each sub box just for the fiberglass mesh.

I will be though if no one else knows a better place to get it from.

There is a fiberglass shop in Canberra. Surely there must be one around Sydney

Wait ? You didn't know how much it costs to make a fibreglass box ?

They don't get sold for $300-600 depending on style for nothing.

You won't find much cheaper then bunnings. You can try a discount bulk order off a eBay seller that worked for me.

Otherwise you just gotta bite the bullet

    Which resin did you use

Try a car smash repair shop or f/glass repairer and buy from them

when i needed a lot of glass mesh and all different grades, i did the ring around, if you ring pool/ spa shops or places that make water tanks some will sell you glassing material mega cheap in bulk. better than the bunnings kits or super cheap auto kits. considering supercheap/ bunnings etc don't sell the talc/ qusell powder and only have the thick as matting in the buckets

Anti is on the money. Most of the fiberglass retailers have shut down in the past few years. Find your local shipyard. If they dont have someone on site selling fiberglass materials they will definitely be able to tell you who does.

Thanks for the help everyone, I did try a boat shops and some smash repairs, but they had none so I ended up ringing a custom audio car shop (Elite Car Audio) and they sold it to me for $10 a meter and its twice as thick as Bunnings fiber glass is. So I'm happy about that :D

Thanks again for everyone's help :)
