fan behind oil cooler?

    Hey all just a quick question. The fan behind the oil cooler, should that turn on when the car gets to a certain temp or is it for the air con?

    It's an auxiliary engine cooling fan. Search Tech Section: Thermo fan, Cooling, etc or check FSM for on/off parameters.

    Well i have tryed searching for it but got nowhere thats why i posted this. Thanks anyway for sugesting to seach for those.

    Comes on under certain conditions (speed, coolant temp/Air cond operation). Also, if you have Nistune you can change it.
    I've adjusted mine to come on above 85 degrees coolant temp, and also whenever the air conditioner is on.
