Hey guys, I'm about to get an underdrive pulley, but I have bought an EWP, so I won't have a belt going to the fan. My question is, what size will I be needing for use with the underdrive pulley, as it will only be going to the alternator? The stock size is 1010 and the UDP size becomes 980. so I'm guessing that it will be a good deal short for just the alternator...Has anyone done this? and if so, what size will I be needing? worst case scenario,just get some thick string and put it round, then measure it, ive done a few EWP conversions latley, none on zeds, ill be interested to see yours, did u get a blanking plate made for the old water pump, or are u just aking the impellor off?
Yeah thought of that, just thought I'd see if anyone has done it before. Yeah I'm getting a blanking of plate made up. I'm pretty much following in the footsteps of Zorro who has already done this. He seems to be pretty happy with it, and it should make the zed bulletprood against over-heating:zlove:
