SO i took the car to the mechanic again for the third attempt and it seems that they are just screwin my car over. the last list was no wipers and no front bar and front lights, power steer leak which was fixed and battery not secure
so with all of that taken care of i tried again but it only got worse

    New list was
wrong wipers x3 ??? but i got them from a zx so can that be possible
the diff has some play ??? is that a fail.
    no tyre place card ???
    the exhaust is to loud
and wait the power steer hose has a leak ??? wtf only just fixed by them last month

SO i get the list and i lost it with the guy and demanded my p/steer to be fixed coz they only did the whole system last month and he didnt seem real happy but i feel that there shotty work should be justified for free.

Now this brings me to my next plan a tech day to do this stuff right
new diff new exhaust and the list goes on

Surly there's another place in lismore that does blue slips.
Plus if you had a list and all on the list is fixed how can there be more?
If thats the case then they did not do the inspection correct in the first place.
i'd say @#uk em and go else where. Another town nearby. Just make a booking ahead incase cops pull you over.

i have gone to 2 different places both are pretty dodgy with what they pass but this is starting to become a regular thing with the zx i think its wrong.I know that the car is pretty average atm but i cant do much coz i cant get it any where
but when it was on the road it was the same exhaust so how can it be to loud had the same rear wiper and so on nothing was changed or modded just replaced new for old

Tell them to lay off the weed and stop taking you for a ride.

Unless your zed is a complete death trap, i would be getting a permit and once you feel everything is as good as you can get it, see it. Take it to another, larger, more professional inspection agent.

I know nsw are pretty tight with their vehicle checks. But a little diff play, and possibly non original wipers. Thats petty shit.

Leaking P/S fluid, yeah, get that sorted. Exhaust, get it tested at the cop shop or somewhere of reliability. Hell, throw in a brick sized worth of stainless steel to quieten it.

Either way, best of luck. 3rd time lucky maybe.

Get a tyre placard of Benny C ( look in the for sale section ). I can see how missing a tyre placard would make a car dangerous to drive ( it's stupid  ) . I have put steel wool up an exhaust years ago ( and it past :D ). Power steering leak should be fairly easy to fix $ . Wiper blades are wiper blades as long as they are new ( maybe buy some of them ).
Don't know if i am reading you right but did you go to a different r.w.c place the second time or the same one ?. I can't see how slop in a diff is a road worthy item
    Good Luck

I have had two interstate cars "Blue-slipped" in NSW. Neither of them went through the crap you are dealing with. "Free play in the diff" - give me a break! Half the cars on the road would fail that test. It looks like they are trying to drum up work for themselves which, if true, is corrupt.

If you were one of these "death before dishonour" zealots, you would complain to the RTA about the misuse of Blue Slip credentialling, and start a picket line outside the RTA office.

Alternately, if you just want to get your car on the road (a much more reasonable option) you need to take a road trip to a larger place where the chances of finding a non-exploitative blue Slipper are much higher.

In my experience (obviously only two cases) the only difference between a Blue Slip and the annual Pink Slip is not a higher standard of mechanical compliance, but a much higher standard of vehicle identification. Both of my inspections (different people) were more focussed on ID issues (VIN numbers, engine numbers, chain of receipts, old rego papers etc, etc) with the mechanical inspection being no more onerous than the annual Pink Slip.

If you steal a car, rebirthing it in a different State would seem to be a smart way to proceed. The authorities know this, that's why the Blue Slip has the heavy emphasis on certifying the vehicle history on first rego in NSW.

yesterday i went to the rta with the zx and spoke to a guy there and asked about getting them to look and the list the rta gave me was similar but not as bad
    exhaust is way to loud
washer nozzle dont work at front
    4 tyres
and 2 oil leeks 1 power steer
and the other is at the gearbox
he did ask about the clunk and the slight whining noise but i told him that the mech said it was the diff and he said put in new aswell
also was border line to low but i will just remove the side skirts if i need to
and he didnt even pick up on the tyre place card but going to get that anyway
