on a scale of one to ten how hard are extractors to put on a n/a Z im just wondering if i would be better off paying someone to do it or myself ?? cheers jamie
I got put mine on professionally which i would recommend as it is a PITA to do yourself...and to tighten the bolts are not fun to do Also make sure you have RHD extractors otherwise it wont fit because of the o2 sensors Goodluck, Abraham
The o2 sensor bung...depends on the location of it on the driver side extractor as if its LHD it will hit the power steering rack Abraham
yes 1) just get a plug that fits in the sensor hole and screw it in. 2)use a hole saw and drill new hole in right place. 3) get new female adaptor and weld in new hole. as long as you have the parts this is a 10 minute job.
Probably best to have them done professionally at an exhaust shop you trust. I had a pair of conceptz headers installed on mine that needed modification due to the LHD issue, labour costs didn't run rediculously high, but it wasn't that cheap. Well worth it though; you're going to laugh when you get a chance to look at that stock manifold. You really have to wonder how much difference a pod and an exhaust upgrade make without a good set of headers in the mix. That thing must be one hell of a chokepoint.
