Hey i have an exhaust leak comming from the left side behind the endine. It is getting slightly louder and makes the car idle reasonbly low, around 6-700 Rpm when cold. It then goes to normal after about 10 mind of driving. I am not sure exactly where the leak is but im guessing its dump pipe or higher as thats the the put put noise is comming from. I was wondering if the exhaust is a DIY job usually or should i just go to exhaust place, im pritty sure it will be expensive though. Thanks
Yes, it is slightly when cold veryy It just idles too low and doesnt sound healthy, like it sounds close to cutting out, Apparently there is a bad weld in one of the mufflers that is leaking which i done think is making the problem, but the noise i hear is comming from the left sife of the engine. i hear it most when i put my ear near the front of the door, or top of bonnet near windscreen on the left side ??
