Hi All I have used the search function but it didn't come up with anything so The fuel gauge on our zed has been getting steadily more and more erratic in its operation. Is this a common problem and if so any suggestions for a fix? I seem to remember reading something on this forum about this problem some time ago but can't find anything now. any help would be appreciated
either a bad electrical connection to the fuel sender or the fuel sender lever arm keeps getting caught on the cup that sort of surrounds the lever arm. Hard lefts and rights used to move the cup thing around and then the arm would stick in one position giving false tank level readings and then it would drop again in the next corner. I had to take the fuel pump out and realign the cup inside the fuel tank.
Fuel guage Thanks Chewy. I haven't noticed if its only when cornering or not but as I don't drive the car all that often I might have missed that. As soon as I get a chance I'll have a look at that. In the meantime does anyone else hqve any other suggestions? regards bollie7
