I have two pair of these US domestic market factory rims sitting in the States and would like to bring them over if I can find interested buyers. They are great if like me, you want to maintain the "stock" look of your car:zlove: but still run a wider tyre. They will accommodate a 265/50/16 tyre and I guess you might fit wider if you can safely fit them on. These are really hard to find and cost over US$170 a rim when they come onto the market; which is quite rare since the US owners have worked out how valued these are overseas and want more than gold for them when they do sell If you don't believe me check out this US retailer: http://info.automotix.net/keystone/nissan-300zx-inventory.html ....who even sells individual rims, left and right. Bad luck if you want a left one....it will cost US$339 as opposed to the regular US$179 for the right!!! I am looking at selling these for the same price ($170 per rim) anyone would be able to buy them for if they shopped in the States. This is a great price considering the state of our dollar ATM plus my shipping costs etc. These are relatively heavy, bulky and expensive to import unless you do it via container! Anyone interested or am I barking up the wrong tree???
I am currently trying to do a deal with Bax Global or USPS because frankly, FedEx and UPS are a joke! Either way I think it is going to cost about US$125 a pair from Arizona. Only way I can sell for what I want to is the fact I have had these sitting since Feb last year!
can you get the TT chrome plated ones?? ive already got polished ones but the chrome ones might look heaps better.
good initiative champ. I was going to bring a few sets of these in myself but won't bother if ur suppling a quality item . The chrome ones are pretty hard to come across in good nick nowadays. I recon the 8.5's look great and can put some serious rubber on them . Has anybody tryed fitting these to the front? will they fit without rubbing? Regards Trev
It looks like the ones in the photo are the actual ones Wildstyle has currently. Getting chrome 8.5" US rims may be a stretch, just get these and chrome them
Adam. You more than anyone else know what I can do. If I can find some I will let you know. However, might be better to get a good set of alloys and get them chromed locally by a reputable firm. That way you know the rims are good and the chrome is not covering up some problems! Woz
Have two sets ready to go.... Shipping cost is about US$220 per pair at this stage so I need to know if anyone is interested. At $170 a rim its just about cost for me......no real profit as usual!:zlove:
