Based on the success of Rod's techday, I am thinking of holding one myself in the next few weeks. My mate has a factory in the north, large enough to squeeze 6 cars inside, plus a carpark outside for heaps more.... The BBQ will be out, its in an industrial area, just off the Hume FWY. Would like a big turnout. Is it possible to do a plenum pull/water bypass in one day??? Please express your interest in the following dates. saturdays are better for me, finish work at 12. can't do sundays. could get water bypass done in one day but if you do it over a few days you can get heaps of little tedious jobs done. like service injectors, replacing the injector, coilpack, iacv and aac connectors etc, re-wrapping the loom, cleaning the pcv valves etc
ok well I'll see what everyone else has to say about what day etc... I work Saturday nights so ill have to take a night off or we need to finish by 4pm....
hey elie, im hosting another one again in a few weeks. for my plenum to be put back on.. i wouldnt suggest trying a full plenum pull on one day though. yo would have to start sooo early. but i would be there. not in the zed because it has to be put back together hopefully yours is after mine so i can get the zed down there so im a maybe. kindest regards. rod.

Id possibly be up for this but i wouldn't be bale to stay all day as ill probably be working at some point in the day. I can do either a Saturday or Sunday atm. But would prefer a later date as possible. the 25th might be ok for me, if it is august ill be more likely to come though.
i'm interested. can be done in day, just make sure you have all the replacement bits ready and if you'e happy with not servicing the injectors etc.

i already lowered ur car for ya. if i did the plenum pull as well then i'd be entitled to co ownership or something and you wouldnt want that
yeah nah all good Rod, id prefer you to be there man, you hosted a sick tech day and would be good if you can come to another good one. So ill wait till yours is finished.
hahaha i wasnt complaining at all mike. but then again co - ownership could work.. i got no licence for 3 months. you have yours... my zed is (was) running awesome hahahaha. nahh its cool. what would i do without you mikey ! :thumbup: you knew i was thankful that you even turned up. however i still gota meet up with you soon so i can raise it just a tiny bit. but not going to worry till the plenum goes back on. can i count on you for some pointers there? i'll be helping kirill i think with that ??
Don't worry man, we'll be alright, soon as I get the parts sorted that plenum is flying back on. Only difficult part for me in reinstall is figuring out water re-route, but I've researched it and all good (NA is different, so we'll find out with yours prior to the day). -Kirill
