Heyas, Unfortunatly putting Zed up for sale after much debate with myself. Reason is brother is getting a R32 GTS-T and already owns a silvia, said he's giving me the silvia and I pay running costs but the car is still his (His future plans of a track car - and im planning to travel). I need a car for my job and theres not much point in running 3 cars between 2 people esp when he doesnt use his. (Fuel economy is an issue aswell.. 300zx does about 14L per 100k where silvia does around 11 - I get a fuel allowance..) As much as I love the car.. just don't have to time to love it as much as id like too Problems: Scratch down the side, rear quarter panel needs respray. (Photo's can be provided to serious buyers) Repairable write-off (REV Check) Heater core bypassed (No biggie really.. saves trouble hehe) General aging of a 17yo car 180xxxkm's rear shade clips broken A-pillar cover missing (in process of getting another) Good points: New paint, minus scratch on the side (paint sample to paint match easily) New engine in, done 75xxx. After market spoiler - bommex twin wing Front camber kit installed New suspension bushes one piece tailshaft Had 100km service done at 172xxx Changed everything in KZed's kit + sparkies and powersteering hoses also had under plenum hoses changed over. Immobiliser 3pt New tyres approx 90%+ tread Targa bags, and shades for the T tops. Compressor to inflate tyres + spare wheel Cat changed Regularly serviced every 5xxx. Owners manual Overall very well maintained car, looking for an owner who will love the car as much or more than I do If not sold on here, wil have to resort to carsales, but prefer to sell to someone here. Asking Price is 8.5k neg (Cost of respray already considered when asking for this price) Any questions PM me or call me: 0432183949 Tim P.S. Photo's can be provided to serious buyers.
tim .. a small point of clarification ... can you expand upon the line "... repairable write-off (REV CHECK) .." ..??? ...
Repairable write off means that the car was in an accident and the vehicle was classed as being able to be registered again, if it was a statutory writeoff it can never be registered. A REV check allows you to find out if the car has been classed as one of these...i think
Heh, Yeah, pretty much. Car went through a blue slip and was inspected by the RTA and came out to be no problem, also rails scanned and were strait. car was rear ended and parts from nissan (refrains laughter) + labour (quoted from a friend's workshop) was more than the insurance repair cost, so was paid out 15k for it and classified as a repairable write-off.
Dont know about down there but up here, a REVS check will not disclose if the car has been a repairable write-off or not...it is simply to verify that the vehicle is encumbered/unencumbered. A VCHECK will verify the write-fof status info however.
I prefer to be upfront about selling, so even if it doesnt come up, I prefer to disclose information anyway
