Stainless Steel Dump & Test Pipes

I'm putting up an EOI for these dump pipes as I need to gain interest before I go ahead and purchase 50 sets at a time, which is kind of a lot for a small business like pzp!

These dump pipes are being sold as 'PZP' dump pipes however they are exactly the same as the pipes branded 'Megan Racing' and 'TuneAgent'. They are 2.3" at the dump and 2.5" at the test pipe and made from 304 grade stainless steel and the welds are tig welded (bloody good if you ask me).

Now the group buy price will be $235 plus delivery. Delivery will be calculated on an individual basis and payment for delivery will only be required once the products have been dispatched.

Timeframe for these will be a long wait... I'm guessing about 3months as I'll be getting them sent via sea freight (I don't want to spend $9000 on shipping!). So pretty much, they'll be a good christmas present!

There will be NO MORE group buys at this price again so it's your one and only chance for a real bargain! These dump pipes sell for between $349 - $449 on other websites, so this is rock bottom prices! Please post up your interest ASAP! I need 30 confirmed people for it to go ahead!

    Cheers,

    Tom

    I'm interested pending a couple of Q's.

1.) Are these 4-bolt for stock turbos?

2.) The test pipe replaces the cats doesn't it? If so, can these be bought without the test pipe, since i want to remain, if not road legal, then at least environmentally conscious :D

Yes, stock turbos (4 bolt pattern)

Yes the test pipes replace the cats, you just need your local exhaust place to remove a section of the pipe and weld in some cats, not a hard task at all.

No they can not be purchased seperately.

Interested, but a couple of questions

With the heat given off by the turbos how will these handle the heat if bolted straight on, if not well, what would be the likely cost of getting them treated to handle this.

How much bigger is it than stock

Is this a DIY install or is this something a little more complex, how long would it take an experienced mechanic to do this

Ok then, put me down for a set. Xmas time sounds about right for a new exhaust.

Also, the dumps are 2.3" and test are 2.5"? Is that 2.3" dump outlet to 2.3" test pipe in then the test pipe opens up to 2.5"? Or does the 2.3" refer to the inlet of the dump pipe?

Also, is there a wastegate separator? If not, would this be available as an added option?

Was a "custom made" H pipe ever an option when u were doing ur research?, i mean if a lot of ppl would like to get these, according to ur order 30+, might be an idea to see if a H pipe can be made or sourced at extra cost, food for thought :)

i just have 1 question...are you able to get 5-bolt dumps as well??

As far as I can remember Vaughan, they are 2.5 test pipes all the way along.... they will provide gains over stock and sound sweet! For this price you can't go wrong!

There is a wastegate seperator already included so they are a full divorced dump pipe.

In terms of heat given off... I am happy to supply a thermal ceramic coating.... this will be an extra cost but I'm happy to find out pricing for you. The coating is black and will trap heat inside the pipe instead of radiating it out...

DIY install is possible. Removing the stock pipes is quite time consuming but it is possible!

Personally I would stay away from heat wrapping... I'm happy to supply a ceramic coating which will be more efficient IMO than heat wrap.

As stated, it won't be weeks, it'll be at least a month or two due to sea freight.

I am able to source headers for NA's. Please PM me for more details.

If you want a whole new exaust, I would suggest some new cats and mandrel bent pipe work back to some new mufflers.

I would suggest a twin in, twin out centre muffler to do the trick mikey... I can supply magnaflow items for a good price if you are interested... Just send me a PM or msn me: tom@perthzperformance.com.au

4bolt only at this stage mate... I have 3" widemouth dumps getting made for 5bolt upgraded turbos, but not worth it for stock turbos in my opinion.
