Starting time ... hmmm, 9:30am drive off

9:30am drive off time so .... 3hours travel plus stops ... 12:30 pm head off home.
8:45am roll-up for those wishing to chat.

Or is there a general preference for a earlier morning start.

also rego runs out 3 days after so i gotta try get it registered and everything before then.

Anyone know Old Bathurst Rd or Mitchells Pass between Blaxland East and Emu Plains ... looks twistty

 

I'm pretty sure that one off these roads is oneway from blaxland end , turn where the macca's is under rail overpass and turn right.
Old Bathurst Rd to springwood is better up hill and a good lookout at the top.

 

Old Bathurst Rd(from Emu Plains to Blaxland) is steep up hill, 50kph all the way, and a haven for Highway Patrol cars(like using a Pogo Stick in a Minefield).
Mitchell Pass(Blaxland to Emu Plains)is one way down hill and the second favourite piece of roadway in the Blue Mountains Police Training Manual.

The Agnes Banks run up to Springwood is a much better choice, IMHO.:zlove:
