Hi im wondering if anyone would be interested in a GB for Lilliput 7" Touchscreens with VGA and RCA adaption for CarPcs or other uses?
I might be keen... what one are you interested in and where are you planning on getting them from? I've got some good hookups and am thinking about getting lilliput products straight from the manufacturer.
i am currently setting up a laptop and having an external touch screen hookt up to it to run conzult etc... = i am 100% interested if it is a stand alone screen...ie not a folding out one etc...just the screeen itself... im wanting to mount this into the sun visor.
Im looking at getting just a few standalone Lilliput ones from a wholesaler, they would be 7" touchscreen, with remote, VGA and RCA inputs, built in speakers and with resolution around 480x800. Ive been wanting to get my carpc going for a while now and i thought this might help kickstart it off. No idea on the prices yet but for single units theyre about $200ish so maybe $50 off. Hope this helps
can you please get a picture of the exact product and the EXACT dimensions for me...id have to see if itd fit in the sun visor...if it does im in.
Im looking at this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Lilliput-7-Touc...4568306QQihZ001QQcategoryZ32825QQcmdZViewItem or http://www.made-in-china.com/showro...creen-Monitor-629GL-70NP-629GL-70NP-C-T-.html or http://www.made-in-china.com/showro...d-With-Touchscreen-Monitor-HR702-NP-C-T-.html
Could be interested. Something to think about. I've already got a touchscreen TFT for my 'project', but it doesn't auto-power-on when power applied (eg accessories). You have to turn it on. Would be real nice if the uit automatically powered up on accessories... Simon.
The power on feature isnt dependant on your screen its on the power supply, opus makes ones that everyone recommends for about $200 shipped from america i think. check out www.mp3car.com for more info on them. What Touch Screen are you using atm? Im looking at the Lilliput 7" as they seem to be the most common and most popular.
I'd disagree with that. If the unit has an on/off function, what it does when power is initially supplied depends on it's programming (much like PC's. When power is given, do they auto-start or not). Sometimes that is configurable. In my case apparently it's not Got it off EBay. Seemed one of the better ones. Has mount or headrest bracket for mounting, and all cables went out the back. Can't recall off hand (I'm at work, it's at home)
if getting it from ebay chad, watch buying it from overseas, youll get slugged with customs duties you are better buying it from aust,at least when it screws up,youll be able to do a warranty claim on it any sunday market sells these for the same as ebay prices
nah i didnt get enough generated interest. Ill look into it later on. Whats this about customs duties? how much will they be?
for items totaling over $1000AUD you get slugged about 10% duty fees and 10% GST...which is why when you buy from american shops you dont JUST have to consider postage
http://www.lilliputweb.net/ts701.html This is the one I supplied BoneZX as part of his CarPC setup It's an excellent monitor, and saves the problem of losing your radio function when you have both DINs used in that type of setup.
