Hey all Since the Tassie cruise scene has been rather lacking of late, I thought we should start to organise a drive to Campbell Town again. Similar to last time, this allows members from the south and the north to meet up at "roughly" mid-way - meaning one group of us doesnt have to get up at 7am to go meet the other. So start throwing ideas up here for dates and alternatives. I suggest waiting til end of the Uni semester (5 weeks from now). This allows everyone to get sorted, and those of us who are uni students will be able to attend without the fear of failing our subjects. If the Hobart people meet up at the same place as before, and get to Campbell town about 1ish for a Lunch BBQ? Keen to do a bit more socializing than last time, didnt really get the opportunity. More piccys on the Grass would be fun too. Andy
Yeah that timing wouldn't be too bad... i hope to have my Z back on the road about mid november... fingers crossed. Just ordered all my parts form CZP in USA. So once they arrive i hope it won't take too long to put back together

Hmm... i do believe you are right about the BBQ's. Perhaps portables (if they even fit in a Zed) or find some place close by that does have public BBQ's available. I know a few people who are keen for the 8th/9th.... perhaps set a firm date for then and see what interest is about?

Im in...my Z is back soon Only a few weeks till mine is on the road again after its turbo upgrade. And I think there is a public BBQ near the creek in campbell town.
BBQs at northern end of town on left hand side?? We went looking for bbqs in the middle of the town and near the river last time, but i think they are north of the town near that crazy monument of a globe on the left hand side just past the footy ground.... anyone passing by can have a look.. I am ok with the exception of 15 - 22 Nov, I have to lay around on all that bloody sand in Surfers Paradise....bugger..
Hey all Taz Zedders. I have been approached by a few of you regarding dates, figured its best to get responses here. The 8th or 9th of Nov seemed to be a squeeze for a few.... Saturday 29th of November - is looking like the date which suits the most people. I guess having stuff right after end of uni and towards the end of the working year meant people were still kinda busy. Also by then, several members *should* have their 300's back on the road.
