The new car I was looking at buying fell through so this is no longer a forced sale. Having said that, I'm on my P's and cannot drive this car daily. It will be driven 1 - 2 times a week to keep it in running order until sold. Price is $9500ono. Took the car for a spin just then. As always it did not skip a beat. Smooth and powerful. Boost is predictable and easy to control. Rebuilt gearbox is flawless. Sound system sounds great!
rofl good luck dude, you have NO chance of selling it if you publically up the price by almost 3 thousand dollars
I was desperate to sell for 3 days only. That's why I put the asking price wayyy below what I payed for the car. I'm out of that situation so now the price is back up to something a bit fair on me (but still a low price for what it is). Honestly, how many REBUILT zeds go for under $10k? 9.5k is still an absolute bargain.
Hold on, just to clarify, was the engine replaced or was the engine rebuilt? You said in the first post it was replaced. Cheers, -Kirill
Incorrect. For $9500 the car comes with a yellowtop Optima (virtually the best battery you can get), rego until September and a full roadworthy included. Not to mention a bunch of parts that I didn't mention such as Clarion stereo, turbo timer, etc. The engine was replaced with a "reconditioned" engine. The previous owner told me that it was rebuilt. Is reconditioned and rebuilt the same thing? As you can probably tell, I'm not the best with cars. I've got ALL the receipts though. Anyone is welcome to see them. Totals exceed well over the $12,000 mark for work done in recent years. You'll see that the previous owner was definitely not afraid to throw wads of cash at this car to keep it in the best possible shape. No expenses were spared.
reconditioned and rebuilt are NOT the same thing. Reconditioned is a very VERY subjective term. To one person, reconditioned could mean a full rebuild. But to others it might just be new spark plugs and an oil change.
Well there is $6000+ in receipts for this so called "reconditioning" with details on what was done. Definitely a bit more than a few spark plugs and an oil change. Potential buyers are welcome to see these receipts.
