Hey guys, just after an expression of interest if anyone would be interested in my zed as a project car. An engine conversion into a bigger sized car with more room to play with is crossing my mind. As in the title, car is 91 slicktop 2 seater manual(so manual loom). Im still umming and arring about wether to keep the manual gbox and tailshaft etc because the twin plate clutch is so awesome. has alot of other goodies, which may or may not interest you, but id like to sell the entire car off all as one instead of bits and peices. I have just purchased brand new BORDER style fenders and a brand new BD style front bar which uses MR2 clear front indicators and it is SEXUAL, omg! cost me $1200! nismo clear side indicators nismo 300kmph speedo 930000ks on the dash HKS gauages 3 hole dash gauge holder 1 inch lowered suspension drilled/slotted front rotors autotechnica steering wheel momo gear selector Now to the other parts which are neg. manual 5spd with NISMO twin plate clutch! your choice of ferrari tail lights or stock standard your choice of bonnet, have 2 black bonnets, one i measured up and cut heat holes. (pics in profile with bonnet) your choice of 20" chrome wheels with 245x35x20 Nitto NTS55 tyres. 17x10 wide rims, or a set of stock rims painted black. I guess id have to add a price for this to interest you. Well the way i thought of it is this. average of a tt 91 2 seater roughly $14000 for a shmick one. cost about $1500 for a nice 2nd hand motor. $2500 for labour to put it in the car = $10 000 but the condition of the body work on my zed is very average and will need a new paintjob. but all the new panels i have put on kind of counters the cost. so what do you guys think of $8000 which includes the manual gbox, nismo clutch etc, everything ready to go. just need the new motor and a new computer of course is i need it for the conversion.
