dude will you ONLY be printing to order or will others be available also?

Just wondering coz I'd "maybe" want 1 or 2 as gifts, and if my car ends up on it (big IF) then I'd also be wanting some to send to friends and family lol

 

Sorry mate, meant to add that in. There will be minimal extras as they are not cheap to print and I cant afford to have dozens lying around if they dont get sold...

I'm working on a deal with a few business' to have these stocked, so if there is interest in additional future sales then there may be a decent supply through other vendors...

The ones sold through the forum will have money donated back to the forum. Depending how the deals go for the business' that may or may not be the case...

I guess the flip side to the question then is, will there be chance to request additional copies after the vote is complete, but prior to going to print?

 

For sure! The voting will just lock in what going to be in the calendar, once thats settled thats when I get stuck into it big time (not that i havent spend enough time on it already!)
I will post a general EOI cut off date later on, but Im still deciding what im going to do with the EOI.

I think like most others I'll end up doing a deposit style system, just to get concrete numbers, as I dont want to order say 100 copies and find out of the 78 copies that have been accounted for, only 40 actually pay up...

Do you think that sounds fair?

andrew ... re ordering and payment, i would go for full payment "up front" ...

it locks buyers in 100%, gives you a definite number to work with and reduces your workload by heaps ...

it is not as if we are paying $100s for a part ....
