Well its been a while since i've posted, been busy with work and other things, so the Z has been on the back burner, but now i am back into it, i received a CAS today to replace the old one as i was getting the 11 CAS error on the ECU display. We tried starting it up after we installed the new CAS, and disappointment ensued. Car won't fire at all, just cranks over but won't fire. We took out the new CAS and put in the OLD CAS to try and get what we had before (Firing on 3 Cylinders) but nothing, sat there cranking, no fire. Seems like since we removed the original CAS, things have gone to shit. Seems to be only one position to put the CAS in, it locates on the semi circle-like pin. We checked the errors and we are not getting the 11 CAS anymore with the new CAS, which is a relief, but are now getting a 21 IGNIT SIG error. This is the PTU? What else could it be if it wasn't?

Also another thing we noticed is the car has a Mongoose ALARM/IMMOBILISER, and we assume that a stupid little red LED light fitted into the centre console of the car, (From previous owner) is now lit up. We tried turning the device off with its key directly, disconnecting the battery, using the remote keyless entry in hopes to try and reset it i guess, but it stays on. I am just wondering if it is causing the error on the ECUDisplay? It also drains the battery in less than a week.

We just try and try to get it going, reading other threads, looking around the net etc it just doesn't get us anywhere. At our wits end.

If anyone has any other ideas, or is close to our area and knows a fair bit about zeds, would anyone be able to lend a hand to try and work this out?

I'd sort out the alarm first, contact the manufacturer or an installer for that product.
If the alarm is active it's probably cut the ignition.
Secondly, the factory service manual has the step by step diagnostic procedures concerning fault codes.

Mongoose immobilisers prevent the ignition switch receiving any electrical potential or allowing the starter motor to be engaged, I have had a lot to do with this system and their engineers of late due to a car I bought. If you are getting the ignition lights on the inst panel and the engine is turning over then forget the Mongoose immobiliser. Concentrate on the PTU and CAS. Are you getting a spark at the sparkplugs when you turn it over? have you got fuel to the cylinders? These are the questions I'd be asking first
