Hey all. Got a bit of time over hoildays, not much money though, and im wondering wat there is to do for some small amounts of extra power/smoother drive engine wise? Small tweaks, or cleaning parts or small things like chips etc. Any info would be good, i wanna get in my engine a lil these hoildays without spending too much money.
Why not try cleaning the throttle bodies? Depending on how gunky they are, you could get a smoother acceleration / quicker throttle response. There is an article in the tech section, but basically; get throttle body / carby cleaner (about 5-10 bucks) take off your intake pipes, hold the throttle butterflies open, spray some of the cleaner in and around, clean off with a rag. -Kirill
