Hi guys, I had initially planned to have a big engine package sent to Brytech, which didn't happen (appears to have been a blessing that it hadnt gone ahead yet) who was going to put it all in. Since this time, my brother passed away being hit by a truck on the Eastern Freeway and as such, I am now loading all my money into getting his car. As I still plan to keep the 300 which is currently engineless, I really need someone or two to help (tell me everything and a pair or two of extra hands) to put a stock motor in which I will purchase shortly. I can pay some money if people are interested, along with beer and bbq. This wont be immediate, but in the coming month or two at the latest. Also hoping the Bryan didnt take too many of the goodies off the car which is currently in storage at Geelong. p.s Does anyone have a set of those stepped ramp that I could borrow when I go to collect the car? Hey man, sorry to hear about your brother, hope everything is okay. And i am down to help, as i basically need the exact same thing as bryan took all the shit off my car too, ive been trying to find a place where i can get stuff done as im getting a halfcut in the next month, if we could get both our cars done on the same day, i would be willing to purchase everything needed, jacks, tools, stands, hoist and engine holder if you could keep them at yours, or give them to whoever has the knowhow to do it. We could make an *** tech day and try and fix most of what Bryan has done over a weekend, and get a few peoples cars running. Btw, i would also be willing to chip in paying whomever has the knowledge, cheaper than paying 4k for a workshop :-/

I have the engine hoist. chains, jacks, ramps, compression tester, and other bits and pieces. So we could.. in theory do this reasonably cheap. Things are ok, being on my Bday made it that little bit harder i guess, no more happy bdays for me :/ Yeah i really need to get down to the storage joint in Geelong and see what happened to the car, whereabouts are you Dots? Adam sorry to hear about your loss hope your allrite I have some jack stands, trolley jack & the low profile mini ramps that you can borrow & use if needed. I am not mechanically minded but am more than willing to help. I finish tafe this week, so ill have a few days off so am more than happy to help. Try contacting Noel (Wildzx) as he is our local zed engine builder & guru I'm sure if he has the time then he will be able to help out. A tech day or weekend would be the best way to go about it as it would gather quite a few hands to help out. I have some zed parts lying around, so let me need any parts & if i have it then i shall be more than happy to help. Feel free to contact me if you ever need a hand with anything. Not sure if you remember me Robbo, from the cruise.. I was in my mates RX7 taking a crap load of pics of your car Well we should be able to get this going which is awesome.. if there was no interest I dont think I could afford a mechanics charges for installation. AWESEOME!
Adam there are quite a few wreckers that have zed engines there...or even try Zshop in Glen Iris as i was told that they have a lot of TT engines there but not sure if they have any NA's Abraham

Man I hope Bryan didnt strip the car.. nervous going to see it now! So a Tech day huh... Will post something up once engine is ready and a day can be locked in.. is anyones house particularly flat/well equipped for alot of cars and engine work? Mine is not too bad, and happy to do it definitely.. otherwise very much happy to bring grog and meat to wherever we do go. Adam
My place is definitely not suit for anything...but am more than happy to bring food & drinks & help out. For 1.5-2k you can easily get a TT engine...dont tell how much your looking at spending as they can ask for more. Abraham
If Bryan has stolen things from your car like ECU or trans, I can help you get another half cut for around 3kish, know a few people who do that service and they just got 2 half cuts in today, just in case. Where is your car?
Thanks Dots.. Car is over near Bryan at the mo.. in Geelong. I'll have to go over there and check the damage, actually, maybe Twin Terror could check it and takes some .. not so happy snaps. Do you think you could do that Twin Terror? Would save me a 2 hr drive which is a bit difficult with the newborn and 2 other little tackers!
Im in Gtown,,, just up from the barwon where the zed shop was for the last year. I'm zedless atm, but when mine is back on the road in the next few weeks hopefully I can help out where needed, definately Im not a tech head though, I do little things like make paper mache cup holders, and create floral arrangements for the instrument cluster. but I'll be on call if needed, its the least I can do with all the help other zed'ers have given me in the past.. All for Z, and Z for all!!!
I can have a look no worries at all. Just p.m me some info if you like. I'm pretty much a man of leisure these days so can do it almost when ever you like. If Waynoz want's to come for a look thats fine also. Can takes some happy snaps and email them to you so you have a fair idea whats gone walk about. Sure would help to know so you can make a list up.
