    hi all
hopefully some one can help, i have looked through the pics etc but can not find what i need.
I have had my engine out of my tt for that long i cannot remember how the engine harness is laid out. does it go under or over the heater hoses. where does it go under the balance tube, etc.
some photos etc would be good i cant find any links for this either.

    thanks

Once you lay the loom on top of the motor, you'll find the wiring's "memory" will do most of the work for you. That is, the wires in the loom will have a shape already bent into them from years of being in that place.

In regards to under or on top of things, it makes no practical difference so long as the wires reach.

Even if its a new loom most of the wires will only fit the one place. Injector connectors and coil pack connectors will all be a staggered length, so it should be pretty easy to figure out which go where. My suggestion would be to not worry about getting the wires to sit in stock positions and just hide everything you can, seeing as you are basically at that point anyway. Lay the wires where they cant be seen and it will look way better than stock.

is it a RDH or a LHD loom?

shouldn't make any difference (as said) once on top of the engine but will make a difference at the ecu (due to length.. well mine does anyway).
