I have been doing my research for my engine rebuild that is planned for mid next year. However i am curious about either of these options. Im just after peoples opinions about what would be a better option, i want to use it now on my stock engine, and when i upgrade, use it again. I also want to purchase a Profec E-01 as well that can be linked with the original emanage, will it link with the ultimate as well? Also, i tried searching for peoples opinions on what harnesses and accessories are recommended, but i can up with not much. Please impart your wisdom to me Jay
ULTIMATE!!!! Definitely be hitting up the Ultimate. The only thing you will find is theres very few people that want to tune it for you. Theres a 43 plug wiring adapter that as Chrispy will tell you, takes a bit of time to do. Wish I'd have kept it instead of having just a custom tune done. The Ultimate has so many extra options that makes your tuning so precise and allows you to squeeze as much out of the car as possible. Not overly user friendly, but definitely worth the price. Fate
Thanks fate! Ill look into it then, what harnesses should i get? I know with the emanage blue you really needed the injector, ignition and support tool accessories to get it where it should be. Are there any plug and play solutions for the wiring for a Z32? I hate getting under the dash as im too big ha ha ha (and my little asian wife told me where to go when i asked her to do it for me )
Fate doesn't have it anymore... I bought it off him 6 months ago. You need the standard loom, the Ultimate only has the one to choose from. IMO the ultimate is much better than the normal one and doesn't cost that much more. Do you really want a piggyback? You can get microtech's for a similar price once you buy the loom and other bits. It took me about a day and a half to put it and is much easier if you remove the seat. As far as I know there is no Z specific loom available.
I am after a piggy back, im not want huge numbers with power, just smooth driving with a bit of punch. Thanks for the help
Profec e-01 has been discontinued They are no longer being manufactured. If you plan to use this in your setup, it is probably best to pick it up as soon as you come across one. J.
No car specific emanage harness There is currently no car specific harness for either the blue emanage or ultimate to suit the Z32. J.
Forgot to mention the E-01 won't work with the ultimate (this is what ZX2NV told me, doesn't effect me coz I don't need a boost controller )
