I have had a few problems for about month now and I figured replacing the cas plug on the wiring loom would fix it. I found that wiggling the cas plug got the car running again so I replaced it and it kept happening. I did it a couple of times then got the auto elec to do it. They reckoned that if there was still a problem it was the cas not the plug.

So, it kept happening. I got a second hand cas through the forum but after I hit a hard bump it started again. It would come and go and I decided to suck it up and buy a brand new cas.

That was fine until I hit one too many bumps. Now the car is dying occasionally. I get ignition lights but the starter does not crank over. I get out and wiggle the cas plug and it comes good again.

Anyone heard of this one before? It's driving me nuts.

    Cheers.

I wonder if you have a broken wire a little further up the line from the Cas, not far just enough that you missed it in the plug swap.
