hey guys i was driving along on the 31 degree weekend with the aircond on and after say 5 mins of driving, the ac turns off - no ac, no ac temp, no rec. and after i parked (public carpark), i flip the switch to turn the side mirrors in - they didn't work. i parked in the shade for approx 2-3 hrs. i started the car, the ac turned on by itself after 30 seconds. i drove off and after a couple minutes, it turns off again. few minutes later, it came good again. when i got home, i turned the ac off and flipped the side mirrors in. two days later, i started the car and noticed the ac temps were off. flipped the mirror switch - no go. indicators are working. hazzard and driving lights are working. i didnt check the wipers though. drove for a couple of minutes, the mirrors flipped out by itself and the ac temp are displayed. any ideas what's causing this?
hey mate, this will sound weird, but i had a similar issue, my dash pods would change wen i turned the car on sometimes, stereo turned on by itself sometimes(shit wire job though:S), electric mirrors sometimes worked and sometimes didnt, but i dont seem to have these problems after i got a new battery, but i dont think that was my problem, i think i have an earth cable unstrapped somewere behind my stereo thats causing this problem someone said, but im not sure, GL man.
