Does anyone know if these connectors can be opened to re-attach the wire? Mine has fatigued and broken off too close to the connector to re-attach it.
Why not just change the whole connector ?. Crimp will do the job fine.You could stuff around and poke the litle clip down to remove the terminal bot not worth the effort as you still have the old connector.
I don't follow?? The blue connector must have been put on before I got the car, there on both side. I want to get rid of the blue connector and just have the original connector there. But I don't know how to open it up, or I might just buy a new one.
If you look in from the pin side you should be able to see a little tag on each pin.With a very small screwdriver push the tag on each pin down while pulling genltley on the wires.Would be easier to buy new ones and solder and heat shrink into place.Just installing the crimp type are easist and will do the job.Similiar as original would be neater but alot more work and you can't see them once installed
