Electric windows on Acc circuit??

Hi gang,

Has anyone with an aus delivered N/A changed the power windows to run off the accessories circuit rather than the ignition circuit?

If so - how did you do it?

BlueZ- also be warned as Garry suggests that your insurer may not validate a claim as the windows are then powered independantly.

 

Yes saw that tech article but ..

Want the windows to run off the accesories circuit ... i.e. still only operate with the key in the ignition but on the accessories circuit not ignition. This would not present the security problem of being able to operate them without a key,

Any ideas?

 

on the ign switch ...

... Accessory output – splice into the thick Blue accessory wire on ign switch
