ECU variance

    Hey guys it's probably been covered but I couldn't find one for this particular. My car is 1991 TT manual, now the car came with spare ECU that has nistune but it's for n/a auto. Number is :

    21
    23710 40p12 which I believe is for early 90s n/a autos.
    Can I use it for TT manual since it has nistune daughter board or do I need to do some transferring. I know people can run Auto TT ecu to manual TT but I'm not sure about this one. Let me know some feed back thanks guys.

    It depends what tune is on the nistune, if it has a TT base map then yes you can run it, if not then no.

    Thanks, The reason I want to upgrade is because I got a new set of turbo and bigger injector fitted. I suppose I need to download specific map from nistune website?

    Take it to a tuner, let them sort it out :)

    go see karl (90ttz) at epic and he will sort out all your nistune issues
