ECU Diagnostic, read tech, 2 Q's

    Is a paper clip sufficient to short out the 2 pins for 3 seconds to get it into diagnostic mode?

    And do you pull the plug out before you turn the car to ON or after you have turned it to ON, or doesn't it matter.
