When I got home tonight there was a parcel containing supposedly a 1992 auspec ecu for a 1992 na auto.(PURCHASED FROM ebay)I wanted to c/o and test against my jspec ecu in my 1990 na auto....mainly due to slight pinging problems on these hot days.My car runs at normal temp at all times even with the aircon on and gets about 450 k before the fuel gauge says empty. I did the c/o bit reconnected the battery,car turned over ok but wouldnt start,put my jspec back in,starts first time.My questions are...did I do it right,all went together ok,or maybe the ecu is stuffed?
u probably should have talked to simon from ttzed and run "ConZult" before u purachased the ECU as fuel efficiency probs can be due to a number of things such as O2 sensors. u can call him on 0418412241 or 98427699. he can be a little hard to get a hold of.
