I brought a knock/det sensor from ebay, the add said it suited nissan and silvia/300zx.. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NISSAN-SILVIA...item35adbe66fd I got the sensor home and checked it and the sensor part is identical, but it's a different plug.. Is it ok to chop the plug off and use the old plug? I've checked the wires and they are both either brown and black. I imagine there the same? Or should I try and buy a new plug and wire that into the car? if so, where would I find the plug from?
